The Digital Adoption Index (DAI) was constructed as part of the World Development Report 2016: Digital Dividends to measure the global spread of digital technologies. This website is a joint effort by the World Bank and Microsoft Corporation to enhance the visualization and user interaction of DAI. It draws on original and established data to provide a worldwide, comprehensive picture of technology diffusion across the three segments of the economy: businesses, people, and governments.
